Flare gas utilization

Gas at the flare is 100% a waste and a liability. It is often usable, and if it is, it is easy to put it to work. Not only can this realize a new revenue stream, but it removes a carbon tax liability and a major AER point of concern. We look at composition, the pressure on hand, and how steady the stream is, and then we say whether there is a practical use.

How we work

Assess, separate, capture, convert, report.

Five steps, in the order we take them. The diagram is the stream path those steps follow.

  1. 01

    Assess

    Review site layout and production against sales specs and volume limitations. With a plot plan, a sales oil analysis, and info on volumes, we are off and running.

  2. 02

    Review sales agreements

    We will assess agreements and specs mandated by the sales oil line your facility pushes oil to.

  3. 03

    Proposal

    A preliminary proposal will be made that will detail how volumes can be optimized, and it will include costs and timelines to do so, along with a new site layout, and projected increased revenues.

  4. 04

    Execution options

    If there is interest in pursuing the optimization proposal, options will be presented and explored, from a detailed plan a producer can execute on their own at their own expense to a CAPEX-free option.

  5. 05

    Execution

    If optimization is pursued, 808 will be there to support from Step 1 to commissioning and operations.

There is an infinite number of partnerships to consider should the producer wish to limit or eliminate CAPEX. Should a producer wish to take on the project, we are happy to provide design, execution, and marketing and operations support as needed.
